You will enjoy the fresh air experience combined with a little physical activity, experiencing much more of Kingston than you would walking or driving!

The bicycles we use are a seven-speed "Cruiser" style that allows you to sit upright and will be very easy to peddle and ride during one of our bike tours of Kingston!
Each bike is equipped with a handlebar pouch for your cell phone, keys and wallet along with a water bottle holder to stay hydrated. Better yet, we provide the water!

The Kingston Bicycle Tour is a must do if you visit Kingston and want to know the history of the city, interesting facts, places to visit or if you just love the beautiful architecture of all the limestone buildings. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
The route is easy to manage even by a novice cyclist like myself.

My favorite part about the tour was the stories! Jeff is the best kind of historian - the story-telling kind. He paints word-pictures that make you feel like you've been transported back in time. He speaks of historical events as if he were recounting them first-hand, all the while never compromising the facts. He respects history. It's also inspiring how he brings you to an appreciation of the city's architecture. He reveals how the mortar, brick, stone and architects of the homes and monuments weave together to make up the fabric of the city. He casually draws out the rich history, juicy details and unknown tidbits of nice but, otherwise, unassuming buildings hiding in plain view. He's also super nice and humble and really cares about you.

When I’m travelling and visiting cities, I prefer to have a city tour by bike and to be honest, the bike tour of Kingston Bike Tours was the best ever. The guide was very enthusiastic, told a lot (not too much) about Kingston’s history, its architecture, he showed the different styles of the houses, and explained a little about the harbour. He took plenty of time to answer questions, and was not worried about “being back on time”. He chose quiet roads for biking, so we didn’t have to worry about the traffic. It was very enjoyable, and I gained valuable information about Kingston and its people. When you’re visiting Kingston, the bike tour is very recommendable!

This tour was a fantastic way of not only seeing the beautiful city but hearing fascinating historical facts and intriguing stories of the area and seeing places we otherwise would never have seen or noticed. We very much enjoyed our tour. Jeff was not only a very educational, but a gracious host. We fell in love with with your wonderful city.
The pace of the ride was very doable For those who do not have bike riding as the main sport or formal exercise. The education included history , architecture and restaurants , it offered a great variety. We would definitely recommend anybody to take advantage of this unique opportunity since your city provides such wonderful weather and temperature to be outside and explore this quaint , wonderful waterfront town.

I've lived in the UK for the past three decades. Whenever I visit a city there or in Europe, I try to arrange an open-top bus tour to get my bearings - including a good overview of relevant history and culture. When I saw Kingston Bike Tours, I thought that it might be equally useful and enjoyable. Henceforth, I will, in the first instance, look for a bike tour! But I'll do this with the knowledge that Kingston Bike Tours is exceptionally special. Jeff has taught and coached for most of his working life - and he has clear talents. His tour is well-conceived: from United Empire Loyalists to The Tragically Hip. Even the bikes have been well-considered. Jeff provides California Cruisers which leave you comfortably in an upright position, so that you can relax and survey the views which the city has to offer. Kingston is a gem. It's been Jeff's adopted home since the early 90s, and his passion for the place is infectious. By the time that you've completed the tour, you'll be convinced that you've been taking a gentle spin through a new, but somehow familiar, city with your best mate. Could you really ask for more?

Our Kingston Bike Tour was the highlight of our mini holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed the super comfortable bikes and the gentle pace we kept throughout the tour. Jeff, the amazing owner and our tour guide, was very personable and super knowledgeable about Kingston's history, sharing facts and lore while he led us around many historical sites of interest, including Kingston's beautiful waterfront trail. Jeff's gentle, easy style, lively interaction, and easy banter made this event a very memorable one for us. We highly recommend this bike tour to visitors and residents alike, as all would learn much of the history of this area while at the same time, would enjoy a fun time with a great "Ambassador on Wheels" for Kingston! Kingston Bike Tours is a must do when visiting Kingston! Jeff is a fantastic tour guide! The cruiser bicycles were easy to ride and comfortable. The tour took us along the beautiful waterfront, through residential neighbourhoods, and downtown, learning all about Kingston’s rich and diverse history.

My husband and I booked a bike tour with Jeff at the last minute during a weekend in Kingston and it was definitely the highlight of our trip! From the very moment of meeting him, until the time we said our goodbyes, he gave us incredible insight and knowledge into Kingston's history and charm. If you do one thing in Kingston I would recommend this bike tour! My husband I went on the tour and found it really fun and interesting. Jeff took us on a 2 hour tour of Kingston and told us all about Kingston, past and present. The bikes are comfortable and easy to ride and Jeff is very kind and engaging. Of all the things we did on our overnight mini vacation, this was by far our favourite part of our trip!

My girlfriend and I would highly recommend Kingston Bike Tours to anyone visiting the area who's remotely interested in history and looking for a new way to discover the city. Jeff was very knowledgeable and friendly and he shared info and facts in an interesting and enjoyable way. The cruiser bikes used were comfortable and well-adapted for the mild riding done. Yesterday was my lucky day as I had a personal tour with Kingston Bike Tours. Jeff has a great knowledge of the local history and his enthusiasm for the subject shines through. The route is lovely with stops along the way to appreciate the buildings and scenery. My bike was comfortable and perfect for cruising along the tour. Jeff was punctual, friendly, and even did research into a few of my obscure questions after the fact. I hadn’t planned on taking the tour, but saw the sign and signed up. Very glad that I did!

The three hour bike tour seems to have flown so fast as we were enjoying every stop along the way. The best part is Jeff's a really good story teller. I was hooked on all the information and stories he had to say. All in all it was beyond what I expected from the tour!! If you're looking to book a tour, book a bike tour.
